Canon expands its ELPH / IXUS series with the new SD970 (IXUS 990) IS, SD960 IS (IXUS 110) IS, SD780 (IXUS 100) IS and SD1200 (IXUS 95) IS digital cameras. As you will notice, there's hardly any logic in the US and EU names and to me - better opinions are welcome - it seems a successful attempt to confuse the international traveler / buyer. The PowerShot SD970 IS is scheduled to be available in mid-April for $379.99. The SD960, SD780, and the SD1200 are scheduled to be available in March for $329.99, $279.99 and $229.99 respectively...More
