On the heels of yesterday's announcement of the 24x optical zoom Kodak Z980, Olympus now raises the bar again with the SP-590UZ featuring a 26x wide-angle optical zoom lens that covers a focal length range of 26 - 676mm, and with the optional TCON-17N Teleconverter and CLA-11 Adapter Ring, the new SP-590UZ can even reach magnifications of up to 1149mm.
