Nikon offers a buffer memory expansion service for the D3 digital SLR camera. The buffer expansion allows the number of shots possible with a single burst of continuous shooting to be increased. The cost for the service is $500.00 plus your state tax and the upgrade is planned to take up to two weeks time.
The Nikon D3 Buffer Memory Expansion program is available in the US and the EU from July 30, 2008
