Panasonic announces the 10.1 megapixel DMC-FX500. The camera features a 25mm ultra-wide angle Leica DC lens with 5x optical zoom. It houses a 3-inch large touch-screen interface to achieve ease in shooting and playing back the images. The hybrid operation system combines advantages of the touch-screen interface and the conventional operation system with joystick for quicker and more intuitive control.
