Sony unveils the α (alpha) DSLR-A200 digital SLR camera, a new model influenced by the recently-introduced Sony A700 camera and replacing the Sony A100 model. The new model is designed to be faster, and includes a wider, 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD screen for easy playback viewing. Furthermore, the A200 offers an improved mode dial and function menu, improved noise control, auto focus speed 1.7x faster than the previous model.
