Nikon Corporation expands its Coolpix S-series with the S700 and S510. The Coolpix S700 features a 12.1 megapixel CCD image sensor, a 3x optical zoom Nikkor lens, and a 2.7-inch LCD monitor. The S510 features an 8.1 megapixel CCD image sensor, a slightly different 3x optical zoom Nikkor lens, and a 2.5-inch LCD monitor.
