 Panasonic will highlight its new LUMIX digital still camera line and digital camcorders, featuring Leica lenses, and debut new products at PMA.
Panasonic and Leica began their cooperative effort in the field of digital camcorders in August 2000. Panasonic contracted for the use of Leica's lens in digital camcorders in its leading models in February, 2001 and introduced a digital camcorder with the Leica Dicomar lens. Now, the collaboration of Panasonic and Leica has resulted in the new Lumix digital camera series.
