Canon announces two new digital cameras. The PowerShot S5 IS features an 8.0 Megapixel, 1/2.5" CCD, DIGIC III Image Processor, a 12x optical zoom lens with a shift-type optical Image Stabilizer system and a 2.5-inch vari-angle LCD monitor with wide viewing angle. The camera also features four movie modes, and a one-touch "modeless movie" feature engages the movie function without first switching to a shooting mode.
