Just as the megapixel race seemed to be tempering off, with many camera manufacturers launching new digital cameras in the 7and 8 megapixel category, Foxconn launches the new 12 megapixel DS-C350. Taiwan-based Foxconn, the largest electronics manufacturing service provider in the world, merged with Premier Image in December of last year.
