Canon announces the PowerShot SD750 and SD 1000 digital ELPH cameras. In Europe these models will be marketed as Digital IXUS 75 and 70. The SD1000 features 7.1 Megapixels, 3x optical zoom, a DIGIC III processor and a 2.5-inch LCD monitor. Furthermore it offers a number of image processing features such as: Face Detection, Red-eye Correction, and time lapse movies.
