Pentacon announces the Praktica Luxmedia 7403, its first digital camera that has a built-in 3x optical zoom system, similar to those we've seen on the recently announced Samsung i7 and the Olympus 770 SW. These lens systems, whereby the image is projected on the sensor with the help of a mirror or a prism, allow for a much thinner camera design.
