Within 14 days after its previous firmware update version 1.42 Ricoh now releases another firmware update, version 1.44, for its Caplio R5 digital camera.
This time the update offers an improvement in the stability when writing data on an SD card, and offers improved accuracy of the Auto white balance.
As updating firmware is still a delicate undertaking, one would expect some more consideration...More
