Canon Asia has issued a service alert for a problem in the CCDs used in Canon digital camera and digital video camera products that causes images to appear distorted or not to appear at all.
Affected Models:
The PowerShot A60, A70, A75, A300, A310,
the Powershot S230, SD100, SD110 or
the Digital IXUS V3, IXUS II, IXUS IIs
