Olympus announces the new SP-700, a 6.0 megapixel digital camera that features a large 3.0 inch LCD with 230K pixels, on par with the Sony N1, announced yesterday. The Sunshine LCD lets pictures be framed and viewed with considerably more comfort and ease than was previously possible. Thanks to its large screen, this 3x optical zoom model can incorporate an Album Function as well as a new Compare & Shoot function, allowing simultaneous shooting and playback of pictures.
