Nikon reports on their support websites that, in some rare cases, electronic components related to exposure control in some D70 and D2H cameras may fail. A similar problem is reported on some Nikon F55 cameras.
Should you experience this problem with your camera, Nikon will replace the associated components free of charge even if the camera's warranty has already expired...More
