Pronounced with an “ah” as in “Photocraati” or like the last two syllables of the famous philosopher, “Socrates.” And that's a fitting reference, since Photocrati is a place for discussion and for sharing wisdom about our field. The name Photocrati has no other meaning - it's just a name. But it's a distinctive name. A name that makes a statement about the unique nature of each photograph we create and the way we each approach photography.
Photocrati is a pro photographers' blog, gear review site, and community. We're a group of professional photographers from diverse fields within our craft, covering photographic niches ranging from travel to weddings to corporate to nature. Photocrati brings insights from these varied backgrounds together in one place, providing a cross-cutting snapshot of the wide world of photography.
