Shutter Priority - exposure is calculated based on the shutter speed chosen by the photographer. The corresponding aperture is then set automatically to achieve a correct exposure. Useful with moving subjects when you want to freeze a subject.

Thin Film Transistor - Modern technology used in LCD screens for displaying images on digicams. They have a high refresh rate, avoiding the jerkiness and color separation that occurs on slower refresh screens.
TIFF
Tagged Image File Format - An image file format that loses no image information when compressing files. It produces no artifacts as is common with other image formats such as JPG.
TTL
Through the Lens – term used when talking about auto focus or auto exposure systems that work through the camera's lens.
USB
Universal Serial Bus – High speed data port on digicams and newer Pentium and iMac computers. It is many times faster than serial or parallel ports.
