Pentax releases K-x and K-7 firmware updates
|
Pentax releases firmware update version 1.02 for the K-x digital SLR. This new update fixes a compatibility issue with SDXC memory cards.

Pentax K-x
[Version 1.01]
• Added three kinds of particular effect shooting function (Pre-set 1,2 and 3) on [Cross Processing].
• Added assignment of Cross Processing function to the green button.
• Improved accuracy of Battery Level Indicator under specific conditions and improved stability for general performance.
Pentax K-7
[Version 1.10]
• Added Movie editing function on playback mode. You can divide a movie into multiple segments and erase unwanted segments

[Version 1.01]
• Added [Operate at AF point “SEL”] on [Custom] menu and it can be selected either [1 Calling Function Preference] or [2 Select AF point Preference]. When selected [2 Select AF point Preference] and AF point switching dial is set at [SEL], selection of AF point can be operated priority by the four-way controller.
• Improved stability for general performance. For example: when left- end focus point is selected, function of auto focus may rarely become unstable in particular shooting condition. |
