Nikon releases firmware update 1.2 for the Coolpix P6000

Nikon releases firmware update version 1.2 for the Coolpix P6000. The following improvements have been made:
• When shooting at certain user image quality settings, some JPEG images were corrupted.  
• As distortion control cannot be used with interval timer shooting, the settings have been modified accordingly.
• Electric current consumption has been reduced.
• When shooting in P, S, A, or M mode at certain image size setting, the size setting switched to 4224 x 3168 when the camera was turned off and then on...

In case you missed or did not apply the previous Nikon P6000 firmware update, you will get these improvements too:

• When pictures were taken with the Wide Converter WC-E76, with the Wide-angle converter and Distortion control items in the shooting menu set to On, the effects of distortion control were weak.  
• When Autofocus mode in the shooting menu was added to My Menu and autofocus mode set to Full-time AF, the setting was displayed as Single AF in My Menu. These issue have been resolved.
