Nikon releases Coolpix S3000 and S4000 firmware update

Nikon releases a firmware update for the Coolpix S3000 and S4000 digital cameras. This update resolves the following problem:

Nikon Coolpix S3000 and S400 firmware update

When the Rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL10 was inserted in the camera and charged, charging sometimes did not stop after the designated amount of time had passed. This issue has been resolved.

IMPORTANT: When the firmware is updated, images recorded to the camera's internal memory will be erased. Be sure to back up all necessary images recorded to the camera's internal memory to an SD memory card or computer before upgrading the firmware.
