Hama introduces three Remote Shutter Release modules

Hama introduces 3 remote shutter releases, named DCCS (Digital Camera Connecting System): a cable version, a timer version and a wireless version. And for good reason: It opens up so many possibilities that are more than enough to win you over when you see the resulting pictures. It's an effective tool not only at times when simply touching the camera could lead to blurry pictures, as is the case with the long exposure times that are required for night shots, for example, or for nature photography when you have to distance yourself from the object.

Hama is introducing three remote shutter releases – a cable version, a timer version and a wireless version – that are part of a simple system when it comes to the connection to the camera. The product designation itself, DCCS (Digital Camera Connecting System), alludes to this feature.  The remote shutter release itself is the base to which a specific connection cable is attached, which is available separately for all popular camera modules with a remote control. If the camera is ever replaced, or if several models are in use, only the cable has to be swapped.

• Automatic time-delayed exposure
• User-defined shutter release:  Time-delayed exposure, with an interval setting (such as one exposure every 60 minutes) and a setting for the desired number of intervals (unlimited)

• Consists of a transmitter (operated by the photographer) and a receiver (with a specific connection cable for the camera)
• Range: up to 150 m
• Wireless remote shutter release (4 bars on the transmitter and receiver for selecting the channel, 2.4 GHz)
• Two-stage release button (autofocus, release)
Wireless receiver can also be used as a cable remote shutter release
Continuous shooting (only possible with programme, semi-automatic or manual setting)
• Long exposures (bulb)
• Delayed shutter release (4 seconds)
• Receiver includes flash shoe adapter for camera mounting and a 1/4" (6.4 mm) thread for tripod mounting
