Fujifilm releases new firmware for its compact cameras
|
|
Fujifilm releases new firmware updates for several of its compact cameras. The update for the FinePix Z900, F500, F550 EXR, HS20 and HS22 resolves an issue whereby image preview on the EVF / LCD after pressing the shutter halfway might be darker than live view, according to aperture setting or brightness of shooting target. In addition, the update resolves an issue with temperature warning. The update for the Finepix F300 and F500 also enables the use of selector buttons when inserted in the waterproof case...

Firmware update for FinePix Z900EX
1. Improvement for the symptom that LCD monitor becomes dark when shutter button is pressed halfway in dark area.
2. The message for temperature warning just before shutting down the camera is changed.
Firmware update for FinePix F300EXR
1. The selector buttons (4-direction buttons) of the camera can be fully operated without any problem when the camera is inserted with the waterproof case WP-FX500.

1. Occasionally, preview image on EVF / LCD after pressing the shutter halfway might be darker than live view, according to aperture setting or brightness of shooting target. This phenomenon is improved.
2. The message of the temperature warning just before shutting down the camera is changed.
