Hannover/Braunschweig, 19th March 2004 - Yakumo is showcasing the new Yakumo USB Camera Stick at the CeBIT 2004. This snazzy little camera combines five functions in one tiny device. It will retail for approximately 129 euros making it an affordable and attractive gadget for all would-be spies.

The Yakumo USB Camera Stick shoots photos with a resolution of up to 3 megapixels (interpolated up to 5 megapixels). The results can be viewed directly on the 1.5" LC-display. As a PC cam, the USB Camera Stick delivers "motion pictures" and even short video clips can be filmed with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 20 fps. The built-in microphone on the one hand records the sound to the video clips and on the other makes the USB Camera Stick a practical voice recorder.

The 16 megabytes of standard memory can store JPEGs, MPEG4s or MJPEGs. Alternatively, additional SD memory cards can be used and the stick expanded to up to max. 512 megabytes. That makes Yakumo's USB Camera Stick a handy USB 2.0 data carrier.

The built-in li-ion battery pack lasts for up to 2 hours in camera mode. The stick measures 93 x 38 x 30 mm and has the right format to slip into any lady's handbag or into any shirt pocket.

Yakumo's USB Camera Stick will be available mid 2004.
