PRESS RELEASE

Norderstedt, April 2003.- Whether you are on the beach, swimming, snorkelling or taking photos in a tropical rain forest, the Casio Exilim family provides excellent all round wind- and rainproof qualities thanks to its new EWC-1 waterproof case. Casio Exilim EX-S1, EX-M1, EX-S2 and EX-M2 digital cameras are ideally protected in their handy polycarbonate case, ensuring perfect photos in every situation for holidays, adventure or the everyday work environment. Despite compact dimensions of just 112.5 mm x 65.5 mm x 23 mm (w x h x d)* this accessory is able to withstand water pressure up to three meters deep and effectively protect the valuable Exilim from water penetration. Exilim digital cameras fit easily into the EWC-1 underwater case and can be operated externally by practical, rubber controls. Even the camera flash performs unhindered underwater. To avoid losing the housing and the Exilim, the lens frame and safety lock come in a striking yellow. The compact, 76 g** light underwater case is supplied with a carry case, silicone and anti-condensation solution. The EWC-1 is available from camera retailers from the end of May.
