| Tamron lenses for use with digital SLR cameras |
|
Most Tamron lenses are built with corresponding mounts to make them compatible with many popular camera bodies, including Canon, Minolta, Nikon and Pentax, denoted with ca, mi, ni and pe in the "Notes" column. To learn more on the compatibility of Tamron's lenses with digital SLRs see these FAQs.
The information in the Optical data section applies to the use of the lens with regular 35mm SLR cameras. For digital SLR cameras the View Angle and the 35mm Focal Length equivalent can be found with the help of this calculator
In the Digital data section you will find the Focal Length column marked with 0 as the focal length on digital cameras is dependent on the size of the image sensor and thus differs per cameras type. |
