Weighing less than 100 grams, the S122 is a true flyweight. Due to its high light sensitivity of ISO 6400, the camera takes razor-sharp photos even in unfavourable lighting conditions, whilst the digital image stabiliser helps prevent shaky recording. Less experienced photo enthusiasts benefit from additional functions such as Smile and Face Detection, which focus automatically on smiling faces. Numerous shooting modes with preset exposure parameters go to ensure perfect photos in a wide range of conditions. The Red Eye Correction facility (without the inconvenience of a dual flash) provides a user-friendly function for removing red eyes directly on the camera.
