Packing a hearty 8.0 Megapixels, the Stylus 840 / µ 840 features a powerful 5x optical zoom (equiv. to 36-180mm) for getting in close to subjects without having to change positions. For extreme close-ups, a Super Macro function with a minimum shooting distance of 3cm delivers high-resolution images of fascinating textures and surfaces. When used in conjunction with an Olympus xD-Picture Card, this model also features a new Panorama mode to enable the preservation of scenic memories such as nature in its full splendour. What's more, the smart metallic body of the versatile µ 840 comes in a range of four stylish colours: Starry Silver, Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Candy Pink.
