The DC C1220 is equipped with Smart Scene Detection, which automatically detects 5 different types of scenes and chooses the appropriate camera settings: Night scene, Landscape, Normal & Macro, Portrait and Backlight Portrait. All you have to do is to press the shutter and the Smart Scene Detection mode will do the rest for you.
