The camera includes a variety of new features, including: 3.7 fps shooting, an ISO range of 100-6400, a 63-zone Dual Layer Metering System, and DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor. Furthermore it offers Full HD 1080p video with manual exposure, selectable frame rates and a new external microphone input. Availability is planned for March; the body will sell for $799.99; a kit with the EF-S 18-55mm lens for $899.99.

The 14.1-Megapixel SX210 IS features a 28mm wide-angle lens with 14x Optical Zoom and Optical Image Stabilization. The SX210 will be available in late March for $349.99. The 14.1-Megapixel SD3500 (IXUS 210) features 5x Optical Zoom and a 3.5-inch wide LCD touch screen. The SD3500 is scheduled to be available in later this month for $329.99. The new SD1400 IS and SD1300 IS (IXUS 105 and 130) will then be available too for $249.99 and $199.99 resp..

The camera, which features a 33x44 mm CCD sensor with 40 million pixels and provides almost twice the capture area of the largest 35mm DSLR sensors, is targeted towards high-end 35mm professionals. Hasselblad will be launching the H4D-40 via a series of dealer demonstrations and events in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The H4D-40 starts at 13995 Euro / 19995 USD / 12995 GBP for camera body, viewfinder, and 80mm lens.

In addition, the new CX3 - in contrast with its predecessor, the Ricoh CX2 - uses the noise reduction algorithm introduced on the GR Digital III, additional face-recognition settings and new scene modes to stimulate creative photography. Another new feature in this CX model is the possibility to shoot 1280 x 720 pixel HD movies.
